The National Engineering Research Center for colloidal materials (referred to as the National colloids Center) is a secondary unit with independent establishment for the construction of key project of Science and Technology (National Science hair count (2011)5), directly under the Shandong University.The school takes the management under the new operating mode and the center is authorized with the right of independent staffing and post-graduate training as well as financially independent accounting practice. To promotethe development of Chinese colloidal material industry, the center serves the nation and the whole world on behalf of the industry and makes full use of the co-operation and supporting units and the domestic industry's existing resources and advantages to fulfill the target of complementary advantages, mutual benefit and common development, also the implementation of enterprise management, autonomous, self-financing and independent development. The National Colloid Centre will be an international leader in technical innovation of colloidal materials, engineering research and industry development platform,tightly integrated and efficient production and research entities.
